Hailing from Miami, FL, Johndale E. Carty is a former professional football player of the NFL and former first responder. He attended Hialeah Miami Lakes High School where his athletic talent earned him a scholarship to play football at Utah State University.

In 1999, Johndale was selected in the 4th round as the 138th pick in the NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He spent four impactful seasons as a defensive back in the National Football League (NFL), showcasing his skills on the field and contributing to the team’s defense.

Following his football career with the Atlanta Falcons, Johndale transitioned to public service in 2005, becoming a Firefighter and Paramedic for the City of Pembroke Pines. In this role, he has been committed to serving his community as a first responder, providing care and assistance in times of need. Johndale has helped the USA Fencing Association as an Armorer and Referee.
